Our corners run man to man mostly which leaves the edge open to running QB's if there is no containment. Jordan is still the man in my book.

True, but the elephant in the room is Cam's being paid to not only apply pressure, disrupt, but get the QB on the ground - and that salary cap return isn't happening...

Reality is Cam's 32yo, and the decline in his play from elite to very good has a lot to do with his age...

Sean and Mickey need to be paying for current production (Ramczyk, Lattimore), not past production (Cam Jordan)...

We have a very expensive and inactive D line at the moment with Cam and 2 1sts

Well, three 1st(s) and a fifth... ;)

While the Davenport pick was a horrible, horrible reach, you can't say Sean hasn't recognized the importance of investing in a defensive pass rush...

He'll get a free pass from the local, suppressed press (in denial), but letting Hendrickson walk does seem counterproductive, even if he was likely unaffordable...

Maybe he'll be willing to rework his contract. Other players have done that. I wonder if he values the community and team over money? My money says yes.

The Davenport pick/investment has been a huge disappointment that has crippled the team. Much, MUCH worse pick than Peat. Yet Peat gets all the criticism and Davenport gets a pass. Screw that !

Davenport is so good though and that’s what makes it hurt even more that he can’t stay healthy. When he plays he gives us these awesome glimpses of the incredible talent he has and then he’s gone.

That’s really kind of a myth though Chris. If you compare his per game production stats it’s worse than Trey Hendrickson in just about every category. It’s just not true that he’s worthy of this type of praise.

I'll shoot you guys straight. Talk like this is similar to the last couple of years with Brees. It's not fun for me to discuss but it is inevitable. Cam has been the ultimate player and teammate.

His play time has been as elusive as Bigfoot...

Bump ...

Sacks in back-to-back games for Cam. He's only going to improve with a pi**ed off David O & Davenport on the Dline. Tanoh K(2 tackles/1 sack) continues to play well.

Atlanta O-line is struggling right now. Expect these guys to get in on Matty Ice this Sunday.

Dome Sweet Dome.
