On that Kamara TD (4th and goal)inside the 3 yard line…

Adam Trautman sealed off LB David. Gave that guy zero chance to make a play.

Textbook block.

Mentioned it during the game. Know lots of folks are down on the second year guy, but this is really his first year as Sean basically redshirted him his rookie season...

Folks often forget that he came from a small school (Dayton) and didn't have the resources and coaching to prep him to start right away in the NFL (LSU, Bama, OSU)...

This is another young player fans will want to be patient with as the talent is obviously there...

Re: Observations from the Saints Gutty Win Vs Bucs

What a game! I'm still basking in the warm and fuzzy feeling from that win.
  • []So good to see Ingram back and the energy he brings. And I actually like him in 14, as it is an inverse of Kamara with 41. Kind of symbolizes their two styles.

[]The play calling was quite good in this game, with the exception of those pass plays near the goal line at the end of the game. I don't know where to find stats such as run vs pass plays, but it seemed like a good balance, leaning a bit toward the pass. Even the tricky plays were well timed.

[]It was great to hear the dome in full swing with a rowdy crowd! I didn't hear the announcers say "Caesar's Superdome" at all. I bet that changes at some point.

[]I love this defense right now. Man if Davenport could have stayed healthy in his career, we wouldn't even think about those draft picks. He is so disruptive, even when the stats don't show it. Cam is still the man. Demario is one of the top five linebackers the Saints have ever had. Kwon was effective and Pete Werner is improving every week (so unexpected). And the secondary played with confidence, coming up with two big interceptions.

[]Who was catching those passes? Tre'Quan, Kevin White, Alex Armah, Garrett Griffin? Who?

[]Big credit Siemian, what a performance coming off the bench! O line did a good job protecting him, but he had good pocket movement and threw the ball accurately.

I'll stop here. I could go on, but man for now I'm going to just enjoy this feeling.

I think Bobby Hebert or Deuce mentioned the Saints are 9-3 when wearing color rush uniforms.

Too bad they can't wear em the rest of the season

Those are the best uniforms in football and there’s not even a close second. I’m usually not a fan of white jerseys but I had to get me a Kamara color rush jersey. That gold on the fancy ones is eye popping with the black outline
