According to the extensive research I spent 5 minutes on, the Saints have less than one million left under the Cap. Any trade they attempted needed to include the other team eating a significant amount of money. I’m guessing they wanted extra draft compensation for that. That’s probably why they could not get a deal done.

I’m going through the stages of grief and guessing I’m stuck in anger now, so I’m gonna pre-apologize here for my “attack” on him...But i’d like to see Guido eat all the lines he made criticizing those of us questioning the overall handling of the situation. All his water under the bridge and let it go and You’ll be sorry when he’s balling and wanna bet comments should be mandatory “poster board” material for all B&G members!
