Trust me, if Michael Thomas is our greatest DIVA, then we have zero worries. I just think MT may have played his last game in a Saints uniform.
Look I can respect that. But look what he and his dad just did. Talking **** on social media about his QB because he didn't get the ball thrown to him. That type is **** divides locker rooms and creates drama.

That is not the type of player I would be looking at. I'd rather stick with Kevin White who is humble and trying to make a comeback then a spoiled, selfish, tantrum throwing child like OBJ.

Just my opinion.

Believe there are only two call-ups from the Practice Squad...

Oh ok, thought it was three, my mistake. Do you think he’ll be place on the 53?

Correct ... partially. Two players per week can be promoted and demoted without waivers two times per player for the season. But, the player can be promoted more than twice, but not protected from waivers after the second time. Another important rule is that each team can protect four practice squad players each week from other franchises claiming them off the squad.

When I first saw him in a Saints uniform I told my twin brother "That man is going to sell a lot of jerseys." I was impressed with him at training camp and knew he could be great. My, how the mighty have fallen. I imagine we'll see a lot less of those jerseys on game days soon. I've been off his band wagon every since he stopped taking calls from the front office and then needed surgery. Now this!

I must say that I'm not really surprised. He screwed the team again because the team believed he was coming back and they didn't make a needed trade for a primary receiver. That's at least twice that I know of he's let the Saints nation down. I'm done with liking him!

Now, I just want to see him make big plays next year if we don't trade him....which I kind of hope we do.

The "Now this!" doesn't appear to be his fault, to be honest, Rugs. The same setback could have easily occurred even if the surgery was done months earlier. From every indication he was wanting to be back and this isn't his choice at all.

Re: Michael Thomas has injury setback, return to the Saints is still unclear

I'm not a medical expert, but everything about the full timeline of MT's injury screams to me that the diagnosis of the injury was done wrong in the first place. I bet this was far more than a garden variety high ankle sprain. Must have been some other major damage, or the sprain was so severe it really required a different approach/timetable/surgery from the get-go. Every setback is just fallout from the original mishandling. Who to blame for that, I don't know, but it's not wrong to wonder if person(s) should be fired or sued - on Saints or MT's side - for how badly this has gone.

He was disgruntled his last year in NY when he got over 1K yards and 6 TD's in only 12 games. Dude is just not a happy camper anywhere.
