People in Atlanta aren't even paying attention and may not realize who the FailClowns are playing this weekend. The Braves are the only story in town. Friday is the Braves Championship parade. Even though I hate the dirty birds and most of their fans, I am a Braves fan and very happy about the world series win.

I've been a Braves fan longer than I have been a Saints fan. Who couldn't love Hank Aaron in the early 60's. Well, there those bigots, of course, but to a kid in South Dakota he was amazing. When I coached Little League we were always the Braves.

I must admit to being a Braves fan since the late 70's. I haven't been to a game recently but that's only because I hate the city so much.

Screw the Braves...Let’s Go Mets !!!

Although I do like that their series win was a big “Screw You” to the league for taking away the All Star Game. Imagine the “Logic” they used...Georgia passed a law requiring ID verification to vote. So what does MLB do? They take the game away from Atlanta and give it to another city/state that has a…voter ID requirement! You can’t make this crap up !

Been a braves fan since we got cable back in the mid-seventies I guess it was. I remember 'em all. Skip Carey, Ernie, Joe, and others, literally taught me baseball. I NEVER missed a game. Remember Mark Lemke? Glenn Hubbard? I saw Chipper play his first and last game. After him I got away from it.

Then came back to baseball a few years ago...in time to watch Freddy Freeman's Braves go from suck to pretty damn good, and then what happened with this team since July. They literally rebuild an outfield mid-season and won the whole damn thing.

I hate me some falcons, but I do love me some Braves baseball.
