Re: OBJ to Saints... anyway?
Ok so now claiming OBJ will come with a 1yr/$7.25 mil contract. We won’t be able to claim him as we would need the cap space first… can’t claim him and then re-work contracts to fit him in. However, this also greatly increases the chances he goes unclaimed which would work in our favor. |

Re: OBJ to Saints... anyway?
He won't be picked during waivers. OBJ will be able to choose his destination. We'll see how he handles the $ offered. Saints can merely manage vet min with some backend trick NFL cap accounting.

Re: OBJ to Saints... anyway?
OBJ still gets a load of money from Cleveland.
I don't know if he goes on the waiver wire first or he's just a free agent. I still think it's a temp fix. We won't be able to support his salary next season. SP would make him sit bench and practice until maybe he would appear in playoffs. |

Re: OBJ to Saints... anyway?
So how did the Rams sign him if they are that low on the waiver wire?
