Juicy Fruit In Chicago ?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I’m in Lucas area and yes I wish they would. I don’t want Sean going anywhere. In no sport is coaching more valuable than football. Find this man a QB and we will be enjoying double digit win seasons again....

Lol. I know. I read the posts all of the time however I’m not much of a “poster”. However I saw this thread started and felt like giving some info that I hear on a regular basis. Been a fan a long time. From the miserable late 70’s and early 80’s, through the glory days of the dome patrol and on. Love me some Saints and New Orleans in general. It’s a better world when the Saints are great.

Well I hope you are correct about ownership because I believe her hands off approach is the best way to run it. However I was curious if there are any rumblings about who might be interested in such a purchase if the day ever came. I’m wondering about a Manning ownership group actually.

I could actually see that happening. Her stipulation is that the buyer after her death has to keep the team in New Orleans. That can be handled contractually. The Mannings (with other deep pockets) could make that happen. However, I really think Gayle is likely to outlive Archie, so it will have to be Peyton, Eli, and Cooper. Both her parents lived into their late 80's and she's only 74. I can see her easily living another 20 years.

Who would want to move to Chicago? That place is a dumpster fire (the city and the team). There's safer 3rd world countries to live in.
