NOLA Saints: 6 college prospects who could replace Tre’Quan Smith

The NOLA Saints are already thin at wide receiver and they’re likely going to lose Tre’Quan Smith in free agency. The UCF product hasn’t been the player New Orleans was hoping for when they spent a third-round pick on him in the 2018 NFL Draft so no one will be the least bit surprised if he signs elsewhere during the offseason.

I’ve been trying to think of player comps for these top WR’s… Maybe you guys have some ideas.

Chris Olave: A less-injured Will Fuller. Exact same size and deep threat speed.

Treylon Burks: A bigger AJ Brown/Deebo Samuel. Thickly built, motioned around in the backfield a lot.

Garrett Wilson: Calvin Ridley? Inside/outside versatility with incredible body control and YAC ability.

One of these guys will be there regardless of where we are in the draft order.

I'd be elated with any ... especially Burks.

Not even sure why Kenny (inactive vs Bucs) was even brought back. Another veteran that's not helping us offensively.
