Tried to break the ice with her by talking about wishes and goals I had for us in the new year and asking what she was looking forward to. She had no replies and it was in one ear and out the other and it was all looking away from me. All attempts at intimacy were summarily rejected when we got into bed. The night ended with my voice cracking and tears in my eyes pleading to hear "what am I doing wrong?" and "what's wrong with me". She somehow manage to let out a soft "sorry" while facing the wall. That is how the night ended. Well for her - I only had 5 minutes of sleep.

She is completely checked out. I see very little chance in things turning around. My new years resolution is to put my dick in another woman in 2022 - and if my current wife finds out, then so be it.
Try to stay strong neugey. Maybe you aren’t doing anything wrong at all. Hoping and praying for you and your family.

Congratulations, Noog-Man!
You're life is about to get so much more interesting and fun.
You know? My avatar is not a fantasy character. It's me.
I lost 80 lbs after my wife checked out, got the muscle back, picked up the
guitar again, saw the world, & yes, I put the dinghy in numerous houston
area women, many of them half my age. I actually had to put the brakes
on , because it got to where I didnt know where I was in the
morning, nor would I always remember which houston area woman was lying
beside me. Once, I went to embrace black-haired Miss X petite form, when suddenly my arm was blocked by enormous DDD-bosoms. "Whoops, thats not Miss X, this, is obviously long blonde haired (and enormous bosomed) Miss Y. During my Ho period, (ended by current tall blonde) I did not have a girlfriend. I had a "route." Miss X literally referred to herself as "your Tuesday girl."

I tell you this, because:
1. As a man, it is normal to want to tell all about one's romantic life.
2. THIS CAN AND WILL BE YOU. So my point is, aside from the boasting,
you may take a moment to reflect upon said "wife," and your history with her, etc, etc. yadda. Scroll thru memory lane as quickly as possible, because you and your Jean-Seauxn are going to need to get back up to speed -- and you'll be in hyperdrive-- there is much work to be done and little time, so chop! chop! And then, in a short time, you'll have news for your lame duck. For now ENJOY THE RIDE AND HANG ON !

-- This whole episode is really God going through the process of getting you
an UPGRADE.

ps. The Daddy Complex is more prevalent (and more likely to kill you) than omicron.

New Years dont excite me anymore, now that we live in this awful time
we used to call The Future. I hate it. My personal life is great.
But the place we're in in History is like the Michael McDonald Era of the
Doobie Brothers. The fact that I invoke Doobie Brothers, shows my
incompatibility with current culture.

I'm only here, because the DeLorean broke.

hahahaha.
This is exactly what I had in mind.
I want 1985 back. F**K The Future.
Tony (John Travolta) had it completely right, when he said that in
Saturday Night Fever. except he said it like, "F**K tha Futah."

I'd pay good money for someone to say this to Fauci's face just to see his reaction.

I'm almost 50 and sowed some wild oats during the first divorce, in the Myspace era. I don't need to do some of wild crap I did back then all over again - and I could recount some of the stories but I also am a humble guy at heart and like to keep those stories close to the vest (this is the internet, after all). But with age comes more confidence, so given the opportunity I'll be more effective with the shots I do take.

Thanks everyone for your very kind words. I would not post things like this if I did not have a great confidence in the quality of our online community.

I read Boston Saints's signature quote, and I wonder if Mora is talking about my marital situation.

My pop (almost 90) slaps me with that quote reminder frequently. It’s an important philosophical idea I believe in. It goes back to ancient Greece Philosophy which makes you able to question everything you think you know.

But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing! it can be looked at as the mind’s ability to be open to new ideas, yet still grounded in certain realities our world
is based in. I even use it as a reminder of my spiritual beliefs because the idea that you “don’t know” is a part of accepting your place in God’s plan.

Sorry to philosophize in front of everyone. Point is, as dark as things feel now, things WILL go on. Try to think of the possibilities of the future unknown rather than destroying yourself about the unknowns of the past. My sister is going through a similar thing right now with her husband. That’s what I tell her when we talk.

My grandpa would always say in a very comforting way, "it'll be alright after while."

It always is...alright after while.
