Also we weren't playing with the same players with Jameis, that's just wrong. Our O-line sustained substantial issues. The QBs had infinitely more pressure from the middle of the season onward than they did at the beginning. Jameis never has impressed me, and I feel like if he was the QB at the latter half of the year he would have been throwing INTs all over the place.
Thing is Jameis was playing smart IMO and doing all asked of him. His TD/INT ratio was excellent. I'm not sure what the team will do of course, but I wouldn't hate it if we gave him another shot at it with a real team around him.

I was not a Winston fan but I think he did well enough and deserves another shot. It's obvious that he was doing all the right things before his injury. Too bad. I'd like to have seen more of him to see how his development was going after a full year. Payton is truly the QB whisperer.

He wasn't getting pressured on every play like Hill and SIemian were. When we had a stable line, the offense still felt lackadaisical under Winston. When the line was a bit better towards the end of the season Hill just felt like he was more explosive in every aspect.

That's true. But still our WRs just weren't getting open with any consistency.

It felt, to me, like we were about to open things up a little bit when Jameis got hurt. I love Taysom. I would support him as the starter, but I think Jameis is already where Hill would aspire to be, meaning reads, game management, etc.

But even with the Indecision he had a very good touchdown and interception numbers, as well as team W-L record. Was he Brees?...No. Was he better than Hill?....I think so.

I definitely think it’s personal feelings more than an assessment of his play. Jameis Winston is by and large a better QB than everybody on our roster. If I had to give him a Madden rating I’d say he’s an 85. Taysom Hill is like a 72 only because he can run. Trevor is about a 72 as well. Book…65.

It's cool, Rez. I blocked him some time ago. Seems to have gone a bit whacko.

You do know that he blocked you? He doesn't even know when you post.
You're not going to run him off if he can't read what your saying. You're talking to air while we listen. Might as well stop since he's not listening. Peace out!

Once again, he can't hear you. He's got you blocked. We're the only ones who are listening. Back to my favorite subject. The Saints! Who Dat!

Sorry saintsfan. I didn't see this post first. Too bad. I guess I'll have to block you. Too bad. I like what you have to say.
