I remember a few years back when our offense was so deadly that we only needed and adequate defense to win. Now the tables have turned and we have a great defense we just need an offense who can put 22-25 points per game up. We were 9-3 this year with Jameis or Taysom starting and that’s with a banged up offensive line and no number 1 on the outside. Give me Jameis on the cheap and keep my defense together, fix my guard position and draft me a 1 on the outside and this team can get back to the dance. And as a side note do not let DA leave
darksoul35 and Boston Saint like this.

Re: Season Wrapup

Overall, I liked the effort from the coaching staff. If not the best, had to be one of the best coaching jobs in the nfl this year. Need to improve the O line, dump every TE and start from scratch, keep Ingram if possible, defense was tough once again. Maybe shore up d line, although thought they pulled their weight okay. Secondary could use some depth sign a couple our FA’s. LBers are good. Believe Winston deserves a shot. So, for me the future isn’t too bleak.

No hate taken. He either gets better or he’ll be replaced.

He was definitely below average at guard.

Re: Season Wrapup

First we had the Hurricane, then Covid, losing a TON of coaches & went through FOUR quarterbacks yet we still managed to win 9 games?

IMO, we had one of the tougher schedules in the league.

Sean Payton did a hell of a job keeping this team together, and almost pulled off a playoff spot. All of these coaches & trainers hats off to you.

Perspective.

Re: Season Wrapup

Sean Payton and his entire staff should be Coaches of the Year. The players should all revel in the fact they accomplished way more than they should have and never quit.

Despite what many will say and write about this team, they're just a few pieces away from another title run.

Cap won't be an issue. Find our QB. Fix the O line. Draft well and we're off.

Re: Season Wrapup

Nine wins with all the injuries and Covid crap showed me that when relatively healthy this team is really good. Having a winning season without Drew shows me this organization is top notch. Most teams after losing a guy like Drew would be instant trash but we got great coaches and personnel to win with a few guys missing. If we didn’t lose a few key guys we’d might have home field. We were that good, if the team was close to whole. Sean Payton is coach of the year in my eyes. I know this team to roll next season.

It is, generally speaking. This ****er gets no quarter. He's been trolling here for far too long. I've watched him attack people relentlessly, makes things personal the minute he loses the debate, and taking shots across threads, trying to build coalitions and pit members against each other.

Oh and he LOVES to start **** with people then report them, all while sending them private messages trying to tell his target how much they have in common...at the same time trying to get management to address his 'victim' status. **** that guy.

We all like to discuss, but NOBODY wants to be attacked, which is what this little bastard enjoys doing. If you think differently, watch differently, this son of a ***** will attack you, and that's no fun.

Everyone forgets that Jameis played with the same players as Hill and was flat out the better QB. Our offense is better with Hill playing his Swiss Army knife role.
I would rather pay a few extra bucks for Marcus Williams than get PJ at a slight discount.

Also we weren't playing with the same players with Jameis, that's just wrong. Our O-line sustained substantial issues. The QBs had infinitely more pressure from the middle of the season onward than they did at the beginning. Jameis never has impressed me, and I feel like if he was the QB at the latter half of the year he would have been throwing INTs all over the place.
