Everyone forgets that Jameis played with the same players as Hill and was flat out the better QB. Our offense is better with Hill playing his Swiss Army knife role.
Hill did NOT play with the same players.
Offensive line changed like 18 times.
Hill NEVER had Ingram.
Tight end replacements
Hill did not have Deonte Harris most of the time
I'm sure someone could give us the rundown on different receivers though even with lesser recievers and the above Hill put up better passing stats. In his last full game he had 5 scoring drives MINUS Terron Armstead and Ramczyk.
Hill played with a DECIMATED Offense and Defense and many players playing injured INCLUDING HIMSELF. Jameis had the whole team INCLUDING Hill all fresh and healthy for first six games.
Go back and watch the whole season again and tell me you wouldn't rather any quarterback on our team more than Winston. Winston was insecure about what he was doing and Coach Payton ADMITTED he was keeping the play calling vanilla, though he didn't admit why. With Hill the whole playbook was open with a few more special plays for him. Yes, I am on the Hill bandwagon. LOL

You might want to go back and check the final injury report for the first six weeks. Both Armstead and McCoy missed most of those games.

The QB missing the most significant players was Siemian. I'm open for using preseason for what it is intended and have QB competition again. I'm for giving
Jamesis another shot. He was looking good before the injury. Still had some indecision but was getting better. I'm sure coming off of injury he will sign a cap friendly contract. It is pretty much impossible to grade any QB's from 2021 season with the all the missing pieces for most of the season. Here's to a healthier 2022.

I would rather have Winston than ANY other QB that the Saints had on their roster this season. He is BY FAR the best QB on the team. PERIOD.

All my opinion of course.

I’m so confused as to how anybody could see it any other way.

Other factors other than leadership, ability, and performance, perhaps?

Knowing you, you're certainly alluding to race but many here didn't like his behavior off the field a few years ago, which was pretty awful. I feel that he's matured the last couple of years and it appears that he's a leader in the Saints locker room. Also, I can't judge a man when I've been guilty of poor behavior in my past. Good for him for striving to improve his life in every facet.

It's my opinion that he's the Saints best option at QB next season. I hope that the team doesn't try to bring in Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson and the QB's in this draft don't impress me.

Wasn't alluding to anything specifically. I'm sure his distant past is involved as you pointed out, however. I just know several fans, as Rez addressed, don't seem to see what we see. I see that take all the time in the Saints Twitter following. It's baffling.

The why don't you elaborate on your bull**** statement? What factors "other than leadership" WERE you referring to little ?

You're the white guy walking in to a black panthers meeting offering to help. In the real world (not the interweb on your puter) you could get really ****ed up for faking that kind of ****, and rightfully so.

You sick little race-baiting ****er...
