I said it a few weeks ago...Roger did not want the Saints anywhere near his playoffs. I stand by it.
Look at how Covid was managed, how it clearly affected some teams profoundly and others less...precisely because the rules were altered in season, giving some teams breaks other teams did not get. It's one of the reasons I was not as broken up this year as past years. Covid gave Roger another tool in his shed, and he used it. Who wants to 'win' that kind of a tournament...one where there is no attempt at fair play and not so much as an attempt to cover it up. "This is what we're doing", sayeth the league. Who's going to challenge it? The NFL is 'entertainment' of course, so they can fix games all they want. It's not illegal... Cozying up to Vegas is alarming, or would be if fair play was being remotely considered, and ironically it may be this closeness with gambling that ultimately reveals the truth... ![]() At least get me back to the time where we're all playing by the same rules from start to finish. |
C'mon Man...

We weren’t the only team that got the shaft on having to play abs remember last year when we played the Broncos. They played with a WR at QB. Now regarding the Rams. They are not a physical team….never have been and that’s why the 49ers have a 6 game winning streak against them. Debo made the defense look super soft and their O-line is average at best in the running game and below average in pass blocking. We lost two games that we had no business losing and it cost us. We have a couple of areas to address on the offense and a few on defense this off-season. None the less, I’m proud of this team because through it all they kept fighting. No one expected us to even be in the playoff race at the start of the season or have a winning record. |
