I agree 100%, should have been considered for HC a long time ago. With that said, I've seen plenty of articles over the years that basically said he isn't really interested in moving on and is very content in his role with the Saints.

Never know until he takes the plunge. I think Dan Campbell is slowly putting it together.

I hope those articles hold true, he's been a staple.

If he is interested in a HC job the fact that he's not calling plays, is never on camera, and Sean is touted as a genius is not helping.

Carmichael was the odds on favorite according to some for getting the Packers' HC job back in 2019. According to this article he had a interview scheduled.

Green Bay Packers: Why not Pete Carmichael Jr for next head coach?

I’m more surprised Khai Harley hasn’t been a highly sought after GM candidate. He’s the one who does Loomis’ dirty work and salary cap gymnastics.

I saw his name mentioned somewhere yesterday. I've read so much the past couple of days I can't remember who or in what context it was mentioned. But then again, he not a personnel guy, right? That's more on Payton and Ireland. I guess it all depends what the owner is looking for in a GM hire.

I think those inside the business know his capabilities, but they may not include head coaching duties.
