I gotta agree with what saintfan said in another thread, name calling should usually be kept off the table..but after years of Guido harassing and borderline abusing so many of the people here, I'm all for paying it back to him ten fold. Ideally he'd be banned, but since that doesn't seem like it's going to happen, chasing him off is the next best solution.
Seems to me guido has proven that he is more than willing (and proud) to dish out abuse but he can’t take it. That was his MO with me for the year plus I’ve been posting here. That’s the worst type of bully. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Jeff Ireland

This doesn't surprise me at all. He may still get some interviews, but his previous stint at running the whole show was a disaster. Some coaches make great coordinators but just do not have the genes to be a head coach in the NFL.

I’m more surprised Khai Harley hasn’t been a highly sought after GM candidate. He’s the one who does Loomis’ dirty work and salary cap gymnastics.

I saw his name mentioned somewhere yesterday. I've read so much the past couple of days I can't remember who or in what context it was mentioned. But then again, he not a personnel guy, right? That's more on Payton and Ireland. I guess it all depends what the owner is looking for in a GM hire.

So he is some kind of assistant GM who doesnt know personnel but helps out with the cap. The result of his help is that we didnt make the playoffs and we are still the most over the cap of any team in the nfl by far. If Jaguars and Lions assistants are not getting calls for head coaching jobs, it kind of makes sense that the team that is last in salary cap with nothing to show for it is not getting their front office assistants called for gm jobs.

During a conversation this spring about the Saints’ salary cap maneuvering, one league source said off-hand, “Hype up Khai. Khai is unbelievable. His knowledge is the most in-depth I've seen of any cap guy."

Was the league source Peat’s agent or Hill’s agent? It is unbelievable how much future money we have been able to spend on loyalty to oft injured local legends. But I dont see how being the best at mortgaging the future is any better than being the best at lighting a crack pipe. We need a cap guy who is the best at balancing the budget to reduce dead money and allowing us to pursue depth at positions such as wide receiver.

The budget is balanced every year. That is mandatory. And it takes advantage of basic cost and management accounting principles of current and future values. That has helped lead the Saints to five straight winning seasons, including the second best record by far in the NFL over that five year stretch. And there's every reason to expect another year making a run for the playoffs in 2022.

True indeed. I think you were about as patient and forgiving towards him as anyone could be reasonably expected to be, for longer than most could, and he was still a constant ass to you. He really is a drain on an otherwise great forum.
