Sunday marks the first time Hicks will return to the Superdome since the Saints traded him to New England in Week 4 of the 2015 season.

This weekend certainly is important to Hicks, but he isn’t saying much -- at least, publicly -- about playing against his ex-team.

“No, no [there’s no extra juice taking on the Saints],” Hicks said. “Just want to play some good football.”

Then there is this from October of 2020:

Things get deleted from the internet all the time. Any idiot knows that. Well, any idiot but you. Just because you can't find it doesn't mean he didn't say it. He was pissed and said a LOT of nasty things. He even got support from Jimmy Graham at the time, but then Jimmy, who is a coward like you, deleted his statement.

Jimmy said, just so we're clear, "feel blessed u got out of there. Time to go shine big dog. All the best. Good luck.”

He promptly deleted the tweet. Cowards defending cowards. You fit right in.

Unfortunately I can't find it either and I'm paraphrasing a little here, but I remember reading an article or a twitter post where Hicks said something along the lines of "better get 9 some protection or I'll make sure its QB2"

Hicks does not like Brees one bit apparently.
