I honestly feel that we stand a better shot of winning another Lombardi a.) with Payton while overcoming any bias (contrived or real) than we would b.) without Payton on an unbiased, level playing field. Not to mention it would be FAR more satisfying.



In the 40 odd years prior to Payton's arrival in New Orleans I never truly felt like winning the championship was an achievable goal. Since he's been with us I see it as just that ... and achievable goal.
