Michael Thomas isn't going anywhere. It is both strategically and financially foolish to think of trading him. In trading him you lose an irreplaceable commodity. He's the best in game game at what he does. Also in replacing him you take on over $22 million in dead cap over one or two years with no corresponding return on the field. It's one thing to eat dead money if a player has no more ability remaining, but it is another to have that dead cap being wasted while the player is still in his prime on another roster. This is a business. The team doesn't care what some butthurt fans might feel.
