There was a less than friendly exchange waiting for the elevator, Kamara big-timed the guy stiff arming him from riding the elevator, the guy justly knocked the stiff arm away...

Kamara's party retaliated, struck the fella, others including Kamara joined in, victim attempted to flee and was chased down, then beaten down in intense assault...

That's the released facts and parts of Kamara's statement to LVPD to corroborate; is this idiot posting on his own social media gaining any public empathy - No...

But as folks here have stated, it's a lot to take in considering how positive a force Kamara has been and to act in this inexcusable manner is demoralizing as a Saints fan...

And as we're Saints fans, putting fandom ahead of human decency, civility is not the right course, we're better NFL fans than most because of our values...

I believe we are better NFL fans than most because of our grounding. Having high values without a touch of humanity wold make us idealists.

It is this humanity/grounding that prevents me from seeing this as any reflection on his character. As far as I am aware there was no contemplation just before this, it was heat of the moment, the contemplation and reflection (our character) came after. Is there anything about this on Kamara's twitter or IG...no he isnt talking ****.

Besides that my friend.... I don't dare even look at the high moral ground from the position that I occupy, actions in combat might be righteous but they certainly are not virtuous.

That's where my brain is on the issue, I just couldn't figure out a way to articulate it. lol

As for your service, many thanks. I can't relate but I can appreciate. I grew up on a base - I learned when I was a kid to stop asking for details to painful stories.

Obviously I am trying to put myself into another person's shoes, and that his hard to do. I just cannot fathom how Kamara, with all the money he has to lose, hanging out with multiple friends, felt like he needed to respond with physical force against some dude when any of the guys hanging with him would have willingly fought the dude for him.

I wouldn't be surprised if the victim had been following Kamara around all night talking trash. Apparently, his twitter account reveals that he is bit of a troll. I'm not passing judgement on this until all the facts come out. Kamara has earned my respect with his actions in the past. It's not like he fought dogs to the death for fun.

It was likely a long night and he was just tired of this guy's antics. Personally, I believe that he was coerced earlier in the evening and only time will tell.

Godhell probably paid this guy to do it. Lol. Kamara's known to be a laid back guy and I hope he's the face of the franchise for a long time.
