What was shown on the video? The video has never been released. No official details of the video have been released, either. Only speculation about what may be on the video has been spread.

Yes I have kept up. I guess you haven't. There is absolutely video evidence. Where is this supposed "clip" and can you say you saw it? Go back and listen to the interview with the legal expert, Drew Davenport, earlier in this thread. He said that video of the encounter has never been released. Basically only the hotel, the court, the prosecution, and the defense team have viewed it. He added that he would be able to retire if he got a dollar for every video that was claimed to show one thing actually showed something else. He also said the video may never be released to the public and gave an example of a gag order keeping a video confidential.

At the time off his arrest a viral video was out of him and his posse punching and kicking the man. Sorry you missed it.

You missed it, as well, because it has never been shared. One would expect a "viral video" to be easily assessible, right? The surveillance video has been referenced often, but has never been released. If you have a couple of hours to blow you can go out and search the world wide web for said video, but I fear you'll come up empty. I can save you the time, however, as I have searched far and wide and the widely mentioned video has only been described (second handedly in that), but is nowhere to be seen.

I'll gladly admit that both the legal expert, Drew Davenport, that has been covering this case from day one, and I are wrong about the video not having been shared outside the hotel, cops, and court if you can show a link to the actual video. If it ever made it out there, and especially given you claim it was "viral", it should be easy for you to find, right?

It appears the police are sharing a different story of what happened now.

NFL still monitoring battery case for New Orleans Saints' Alvin Kamara, source says

Alvin Kamara 's offseason arrest remains under league review and the NFL is monitoring all legal developments, including his Aug. 1 court date, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Sources told ESPN that there's no firm timeline on a decision on discipline for Kamara under the personal conduct policy, which opens the door for the New Orleans Saints running back to be available Week 1 -- unless he is placed on paid leave via the commissioner's exempt list.

League sources told ESPN that the feeling is that Kamara could be suspended, but nothing is firm and much could depend on the findings of the case.

The Aug. 1 hearing has already twice been postponed after attorneys have asked for more time to review evidence turned over by prosecutors.

Police have said video evidence shows Kamara put his hand on the alleged victim's chest to stop him from stepping toward the elevator early Feb. 5 at the rooftop nightclub Drai's. The man pushed Kamara's hand away and Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Chris Lammons punched the man, according to police.

The man fell unconscious on the floor and the defendants, which also included two other men, allegedly stomped on his face, chest and legs, leaving him with facial fractures and injuries to his head, knees and arms.

When referencing the yet to be shared video the police do not mention any chasing down of the "alleged victim" which some have claimed. No mention of Kamara landing punches. They're now saying that the video shows Lammons punched the guy and knocked him out. This certainly may take some time to be resolved.
