He went on to say that even when he is back at 100, that won’t stop the Saints from going out and seeking additional help (WR) in Free Agency and subsequent draft. We shall see. |

The Saints can clear around $10 million from the 2022 cap with a simple restructure (no approval of the player required) of his $15.35 million base salary and $450K in 2022 bonuses. All that is required is that he remains on the roster. |

I don't see that to say he should have let the Saints make all decisions on his health. I want and believe MT will come back but to say he did nothing out of line is a stretch. Even if he didn't want the Saints input on his recovery plan not answering your phone to your bosses... I wouldn't expect to keep my job if I did the same. |

Bottom line, we're a better offense with MT in and focused on winning.
I'm sure of all people, HE's got to be ready to move beyond the last two seasons of full-tilt distractions. |

Of course those of us with jobs could very well lose them for what Thomas "didn't" do, but then again, we aren't NFL record setting WR's that would be the most impactful offensive player on the team either.
