The cap matters but not for us because Loomis is the ONLY person on the face of the planet who knows how to manipulate it. Other GMs only have a rudimentary understanding of basic math. THATS why our beloved Saints never have cap issues….

Don't forget speedo. He's a self-proclaimed cap meister because he managed a BA in accounting from LSU, and HE says the cap doesn't matter. So why are we even paying Loomis? Why is there even a cap? It's all smoke and mirrors to our resident racist...

Looking at individual contract terms for players it looks like the Saints have until March 18th to convert 2022 base salaries to signing bonus proration and until March 20th to convert roster bonuses to signing bonus proration.

Last year the first of ten restructures by the Saints occurred on February 5th and the last was March 17th, just prior to base salaries and roster bonuses hitting the 2021 books.
