The way I’m reading this situation playing out is that Watson knows the Saints are the best fit for him and his career but his heart is having a hard time saying no to his hometown team. It’s very obvious that if everything football was equal he would already be a falcon. Guess we’ll see what wins out, his mind or heart. I just hope he makes a decision by tomorrow.

Get Winston's camp back on the horn, propose a 3 year deal heavy with incentives, keep all of those picks & get this offense back to where it needs to be in order to compete.

I'm not a fan of potentially losing Ceedy D anyways. Extend your dawgs.

What's taking so long? The panthers are out. It is down to us and the falcons. As a Saints fan the choice is clear. I hope he goes with his head and not his heart.

I read earlier from a local reporter on Twitter that Falcons were sending Ryan to the Texans and getting Watson, along with various other picks and players in the deal. I wonder if Ryan balked at that and demanded another destination. In exchange he would push back that bonus and allow extra time.

I think our options to draft a QB just went downhill. The way I look at it the Packers dealt Adams to load up on draft picks to move up for a QB. I am sure Rodgers will understand.
