I’m fine with the Dalton signing, but I think Trevor had very little help and was a bit of a scapegoat. If the D would have shown up in the Atl and Tenn games the way they did in other games then Trevor is eating those 2 Ws.

I really really like this move. That's about as solid as a backup you can hope for. I really do belive this mean Taysom Hill's days as a QB are done. Atleast with the Saints.

I agree with everyone here, but I'll have to say I didn't see it coming. But then again I didn't see the trade for Jameis coming either.

Agreed. I think he was also the victim of an injured O-line. When he came on in relief in that last game he didn't look bad because he had time to throw.

I agree. Always liked the guy. He’s a player I could see resurrecting his career under the right circumstances if he has to step in. Kind of like Kurt Warner did, except a poor man’s version of the same scenario. I definitely think he’s a guy who could keep us rolling as long as our defense is holding its own.
Our receiver situation is still baffling but what do I know.

Another benefit is Dalton will be a great vet for Book to learn from. Not that Jameis isn't a good mentor, but Dalton's been in the league longer and seen more.
