Maybe we will trade one of the first rounders for Calvin Ridley. Mickey Loomis loves betting on his team, Calvin Ridley loves betting on his team. Seems like a match made in heaven.

My point is that we traded next years 1st which is going to be a good QB draft. I just don't agree with it. But I'm just a fan. No one cares about my opinion. lol |

I read an article on this that mentions that filling positions with draft picks instead of free agents will help the cap down the road.
The Saints now have 3 picks in the top 50 picks of the draft. |

OK, I have neither the time nor the patience to figure out how to block you tonight. "Ignore the truth", and what truth would that be? That our Saints have been CAP strapped since 2009 have won a SB, and how many times have won playoff games and we have managed to sign a lot a of top rated free agents over the that time frame? I don't get it, would you like to offer a better GM? Anyone can complain, but if you don't offer a solution...so what?

Re: Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints shake up first round of 2022 NFL draft with multi-pick trade
Loomis is no dummy. He weighs the talent in years in his determinations for making trade, it's not just a scale of the worth of what a pick is. If his selections turn out to be right, and the talent at the positions we go after is scarce next year, then it is a good trade. If the opposite is true, it's a bad one. Everything in these drafts can't just be weighed on a scale, every year is different.
