2022 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; If they like Willis/Corral,Howell wonder if they try and get back in at 30/31 to get the 5th year option. Would probably cost next years 2 or 3...

If we can get a projected rd 1 Qb in the second I wouldn’t complain.

Im going to call it now
By game 6 Ruiz has lost his starting RG spot to Throckmorton or Hurst.

Wasn't he another pick that Payton pushed for

Wouldn't be surprised if Tampa considers Willis. I know Tom is coming back this year. But after that, then what? It would make sense for them to pick Willis since he needs time to develop.

Not sold on Trautman. Whatever picks the Saints have left might need to be used to bring in another TE. Or sign whichever veteran TE is still out there.

Yep that’s a pretty glaring weakness. For whatever reason though, that position is the hardest transition from college to the pro’s. I wouldn’t bank on a day 2 pick coming in and replacing Trautman.

Was looking at some highlights of Trevor in those trenches.

He’s a serious run blocker. Mauler … oh and a high RAAS score 😀.

Dougie Marrone has something to work with.

It will be interesting to see where we go at pick #49.

Safety? Linebacker? Tight end perhaps?

For safety I think they go after Mathieu and pay him close to what he wants
