Although there is one thing we absolutely agree upon ... you do like playing the Devil's Advocate. dev·il's ad·vo·cate /ˈˌdevəlz ˈadvəkət/ noun a person who expresses a contentious opinion in order to provoke debate or test the strength of the opposing arguments. |

Re: Saints draft Tennessee cornerback Alontae Taylor with the No. 49 pick
I understood that And I disagree. Not because it’s you and it’s my life mission. The idea is flawed. You are using The win/loss record as the barometer of how successful the Saints have been in the draft over Loomis tenure. Not so. Drew Brees is the biggest reason for their W-L record and he was not a draft pick. I’d say the largest portion of Loomis success has been his cap management and FA (Brees, Vilma, Davis) signing rather than draft success. Too many Baptiste type picks and trading up for guys that were about 50/50 success rates. It’s just my feeling. I may be wrong. Not because I always disagree with you.

I think we’ve got the talent to have a historically notable D backfield like the Legion of Boom. Better start thinking of nicknames now! How about the apostles?
