Another fight today at camp with Trevor. This time with Roach.

Both were kicked out of practice.

Coach Todd Haley recently talked about camp fights and how there was a fine line in the eyes of coaches. He said outwardly you must discourage the fighting, but inwardly you are pleased to see the fire. But, you can't just let it go. Especially under the new practice rules with such limited time. He said you just don't have the time to waste anymore.

I wonder what he's doing to piss everyone off? I only saw the play on his first fight and I didn't see anything physically wrong with what he was doing. Talker? Extra push or two after the play is over?

Extra stuff after the whistle, retaliating ... like swinging on your opponent. We really don't need our 1st rounder, bookend LT getting kicked out of practice, and more importantly missing reps.

When the real games roll around, you can bet the opposition (coaches) will use his "extra aggressiveness" against us. The last thing we need is for our guy to get flagged or ejected. It's already hard enough to win at this level.

Love the nastiness, but play smart.

Personally, I see nothing negative about this Penning deal. Coach Haley said that it is always better to have to tell a player "Whoa!" than to try to tell them to "giddyap." And, like Geoff Saturday said, he's got all camp to learn how to practice.

Penning is going to be a stud. Armstead who?
