Reported Turf Toe injury. What's the healing time for something like this?

Penning is headed to IR. The timing may prove opportune for a replacement as final cuts are around the corner. We may also bring back a recent OL cut.

We'll see... it's not it's like it's an achilles injury. Depending on severity, there is an outside chance for a return late n the football year.

Even if it's just in a limited "Strief" role as an extra lineman on some plays - it would be beneficial to his development.

Ask Mark Ingram how long it takes to come back from turf toe. My foot froze up following ankle replacement surgery and the biggest problem has been the turf toe that just won't heal fast enough. Get well soon big guy!
