Observation from the Saints win vs Chargers
First team looks ready. Hope it's not a false sense of security.
TQ misses and Merritt may have done enough. Defense was stout other than one drive . Hope the Penning injury is a minor one . Even Ian Book looked above average. Maybe he's improving. Worth keeping on the practice squad at least. Running game had 161 yards... Not had. | |

Winston and Dalton are SOLID.
AK looks like … well AK. Lutz is money 💰. Juice just gets open … same goes for Olave. Cuts are coming but I’d like to keep Merritt & Justin Evans. Have a safe weekend everyone 🙏. |

Re: Observation from the Saints win vs Chargers
* The #1s looked sharp as a needle. The protection was good, there was running lanes, good throws by Winston. I like what I see.
* I think Ingram looked better than he has for quite some time, slightly more nible. * The kicking game...I mean we got the right guys to do it. * Tony Jones Jr should be the #3 RB. * Krull hade some nice plays and seems to be going after it when runblocking. * We got some good depth in the secondary. #30 Evans and #35 Gray had pretty nice games. * "There were 69,089 fans in the Caesars Superdome for the Saints only home preseason game of 2022." Quote from neworleanssaints.com, thats crazy! Seems like the fans are ready for the season too. * Maye had som nice plays there close to the goalline sticking the RB. * Taco Charlton showed some flashes of what he can do. * Book showed progress. I don't know if its enough for him to make the team thou. I think there will be some cuts coming that will be some tough cuts to come. There is a ton of talent on this roster. Especially at WR, DBs and DEs. |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

Landry just gets open, he and Winston already seemed comfortable with eachother.
Some very nice catches by Jarvis. |

Re: Observation from the Saints win vs Chargers
I thought Jameis looked great. Most of the time players coming off injury will say the right things to keep the media honest. But I truly believe Jameis when he said he’s not worried about his knee at all. His play last night and bouncing up from that big hit
made me a believer. |
