Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Bucs

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; As expected my crap box Pat/Brady fan poker buddies are ribbing me pretty hard. Good thing I’m a calm guy who doesn’t like to argue or get into confrontations....

Damn, maybe it’s my fault. I was drinking Abita beer last Sunday. I drank Busch this last game. My Bad all! You all better send me some Abita Springs for next week cause it’s hard to find here. Purple Haze is my fav but I’m not picky.

Another solid performance.

Edit - our DE's needs to bring it. I don't think we touched Brady today.

Even against their back ups on the Oline, no pressure.
Werner was solid. Our guys were held all day. Have ya'll seen the hold on Cam on the touchdown throw by TB?

A wise old Sage one time pontificated, "Everybody has to take responsibility for that loss IMO. Your best LB as well. Just saying for the team it’s a reflection moment for everyone."

Never been on the Winston wagon. Was glad he was on Tampa's team. Have been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. If his back is that bad... please start Dalton! If we do... don't think we'll go back.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Bucs

So here are some interesting stats :

Matt Stafford and Andrew Dalton are both 34.

Stafford career TD/INT % are 4.7 and 2.4.

Dalton is 4.5 and 2.7.

Stafford career W-L is 87-96.
Dalton is 77-69.

Stafford averages 7.2 YPA with 272 YPG.
Dalton averages 7.0 with 233 YPG.

Career completion % Stafford 63.1.
Career completion % Dalton 62.2.

If Dalton plays I feel pretty good.

Werner played his butt off. I saw him meeting Fournette in the hole a couple of plays.

Werner is one of those guys that you can tell just gets it.

He is fundamentally strong, which is great for a 2nd year player and he plays with an intensity that matches Demario.
