Re: Saints Rookie Trevor Penning Could Return Sooner Than Expected
Turns out it is the same injury that Thomas suffered. I suppose some feel Penning "would rather take the rest of the season off and still get paid instead of rehab and come back this year." Actually, that's exactly what the Saints attempted to do with Thomas until finally deciding on surgery. Thomas attempted to rehab and come back until the team decided to go ahead and do the season ending surgery. |

Not stirring any pot myself. Just noticing the stirring being done by "some" others. |

Lol. It was MEEEE!
I said it! And of course I have to see his posts because they’re quoted. Lol. Hey AG, I don’t care if it hurts your feelings that I feel that way. And I guarantee Thomas doesn’t care while he jumps into his money pool like Scooge McDuck. Good grief. Stand up for someone that’s needs stood up for. |

If all players are super motivated then why do some guys get the reputation of being extra hard workers, putting in countless hours watching film while other players get the rep of being lazy? Hell, Spencer Tillman was so highly motivated to play football that he gave up millions in order to go serve his country.
We've all heard the old Peyton Manning/Ryan Leaf story entering the 1998 Draft about being asked what they'd do if chosen number 1 overall. Your post is easily proven false. You have no idea what motivates these guys. |
