Turns out it is the same injury that Thomas suffered. I suppose some feel Penning "would rather take the rest of the season off and still get paid instead of rehab and come back this year." Actually, that's exactly what the Saints attempted to do with Thomas until finally deciding on surgery. Thomas attempted to rehab and come back until the team decided to go ahead and do the season ending surgery. |
