IT WAS NOT BROOKS FAULT WE LOST TO THE VIKINGS!!! Get over it. It was a team effort or lack there of for losing that game. I didn't see AB fumbling on the opening kick off for 2 weeks straight. I didn't see AB giving TD bombs on Defense. When you play from behind all game long you scrap the game plan and use the pass, pass, pass mentality. Which is obvious to the defense... the O-line was horrible, could pick up a blitz to save there life.

i don't think anyone will be interested in brooks with a $6.25mil base coming next year. i think the bonus hits should be done so he can just be dropped unceremoniously.
from a good wwl article- Mind you, I’m not factoring in a signing bonus and/or other bonuses. That information is even harder to come by. To be fair to Brooks, though, I’m not sure if his signing bonus will continue to be paid off in the coming years. But still, is Brooks worth a base salary of $5.5 million this coming season? I’d say no. Here’s more food for thought: my inside source, “guy who knows a guy, told me a couple months ago that Brooks’ total salary from last year (2004) was third highest in the NFL, behind Culpepper and Manning. I don’t know about you, folks, but when I think of the three best quarterbacks in the league, I certainly don’t envision Aaron Brooks standing next to Culpepper and Manning. I could easily name ten guys whom I’d rather have as starting QBs over Brooks. http://www.wwltv.com/sports/saints/s....fbda842d.html |

Hey Black, was that supposed to be an insult, hey bro don't sugarcoat that crap come on out and say it and believe me if the offense was working, we would not have to worry about the defense. It appears to me that the offense has put our defense in alot of bad situations this year, as well as the special teams, not that the defense can't stop another team when they have 80 yards to go. Brooks is a problem and a major one, you cannot have your QB, who is supposed to be the leader of your team make as many mistakes as he does period. OUr defense played very well against the Panthers and AB only made 1 mistake in that game. I guarantee just like Justin Wilson my brother if we don't make bonehead mistakes on the offensive side of the ball and put the defense in bad situations that will be better than average.
