To all the guys he talked down on Marcus Williams HA! Lls guy has a lock damn near every game. Von Bell making plays. Adebo has to play better immediately 3tds in one game is of 40 yards plus gives me bad memories.

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Seahawks

- Once again, Dalton looked serviceable, but at this point of his career is clearly just a backup. He doesn't appear to be able to make an explosive throw downfield like Winston.

- Taysom is a monster and perfectly suited for the role he is currently playing. Finally mixing in the pass was overdue, but adds the threat as someone mentioned earlier.

- Kamara is a difference maker. We need him in the game badly.

- Seahawks fans were gracious in the loss and just wanted to head to Bourbon to drown their sorrows.

- Geno Smith showed why he was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week last week. He looked big and looked to move well and was extremely accurate on those two deep TD throws.

- The defensive front looked very solid in stopping all but one run and put great pressure on Smith when called upon.

- The Saints came out on top on two very close calls, the Metcalf "fumble" and the Olave "TD". Those have in the past have commonly gone against us.

- Opening drive. Once again the offense marches right down the field on scripted plays and then stalls in the red zone on conservative play calling with what appeared to be from the far end of the field two right tackle dive plays for two and three yards. Dalton then misses Olave on a short pass to end the drive.

- Injuries are plaguing the whole league right now. Harty and Olave both go down, but so did Penny for the Seahawks. I can't remember this many injuries this early throughout the league.

- It was nice leaving the Dome a winner and the crowd was alive as it has been in a couple of years. A win is a win!

- Penalties looked more under control with only six on the day, half of what Seattle managed to commit.

- Gillikin is human with that late shank at a key time of the game. He looked disgusted while leaving the field.

- Thought the offensive line did a good job of protecting Dalton and run blocking. Only one sack given up and a season high 235 yards on the ground.

- Can't wait to get players back for the Cincy game next week. Expecting obnoxious LSU fans in the seats pulling for Burrow. Also expecting to see him on the ground a half a dozen times.

Too bad Marcus Williams dislocated his wrist yesterday and should be heading to IR. May be season ending depending upon extent of the damage.

Kinda makes the Ceedy trade appear even more troublesome. What's that saying again... Can't have enough DBs?

We should be getting Maye back this week. That'll be huge.

I might have more disdain for Trequan than I did for Tebucky Jones. The guy pisses me off.

I forgot one bullet point:

- Cam Jordan is still a stud! one and a half more sacks yesterday.

I agree with the lsu fans. They’re gonna make it a 50/50 atmosphere. I love Burrow but not when he plays the saints.

I'm reading a lot of dogging of the Saints secondary here, but one must give Geno Smith a ton of credit. He made several great throws in which the defender had no chance to make a play. Some passes just cannot be defended.

Just a couple here.
