Re: Rumor
Compared to the cap hit the Falcons took for trading Matt Ryan, our cap hit for trading Kamara would be small. We might have to restructure another deal to make it work with this years cap but overall it would free up more cap in the future than it costs now. If we could get back our own first rounder it would be great. I am not sure the Eagles would do that. Even if we could get the Eagles 1st rounder, our 2024 2nd rounder back, and some mid round picks we should consider it. But I am not sure why the Eagles have the biggest need for a running back, Miles Sanders has been decent. Maybe we could get him in the swap with picks. The Rams might make more sense. Or the Bills. I think it makes sense for us to trade Kamara because we are not championship contenders even if we might win our division at 7-10 somehow, Kamara will likely face some supension next year when we wont contend either, and long term we need to free up cap, get younger, and have more draft picks to get a qb and contend.
