Re: Observations from the Saints' Dominating Win vs Raiders
The biggest difference I see with Dalton instead of Winston is the lack of confusion before the snap. The O line seems to know their assignments as well as the backfield. I don't know if it is a reflection of the QB or if these are improvements being made since the beginning of the season. So it may not be fair to compare Winston and Dalton on this point.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Dominating Win vs Raiders
JW had 1 good quarter in the games he started. Maybe 2. The offense stalled constantly and he can’t read the defense. That’s the difference. Yes he can make plays. Yes he has a cannon. But he is indecisive and panicked. He doesn’t go through his reads. He stares down his first read and chucks the ball. Lol.
He made me eat crow in the 4th quarter in the first game. Everything after was kind of crabby. Lol. Dalton is fine. At least he scores points and takes what the defense gives him. Of course this was a 2-5 Raiders team. So I’m not overly optimistic yet. But I still feel like he’s just a better QB. |

-Can't guard Olave.
-Dalton is playing as well as he ever did. -Peat on the field is a difference maker. - Taylor is the real deal. Talented with EFFORT. -Rasheed continues to make plays. -Davenport, Onyemata and Turner sighting. -No Turnovers. -Hill making plays. -Refs didn't have their hands on the scale. -Raiders are bad. |

I know it’s the Raiders and it’s one game, but I guess I’m optimistic. Maybe not for this season exactly, but I certainly don’t think we are in the blow it up and rebuild stage (now que up bako). Keep in mind that if Lutz makes a FG here or if Kamara/Ingram had one fewer fumble there or if the damn refs call a fair game this team could be 5-3 or 6-2 easily. I also realize the Ravens are a tough team to take on next week. Could be singing a different tune. |
