Observations from the Saints' Dominating Win vs Raiders

Saints needed this kind of performance . It's good to witness no turnovers, way fewer penalties, positive contributions from all players, and last if not least dominating Saints Defense... This is called winning football ! Maybe the Kamara speech was effective after all.

Let's enjoy this and rejoice!.

A Healthy (and intelligent) dose of Taysom, a cool headed and efficient Andy, AK doing what he does best, other key players PLAYING... and a Defense SHOWING UP... And a GOOD WEEK AHEAD for the Fans... Finally. WHODAT!

The biggest difference between Andy and JW- Andy knows to check it down to the best play maker he has. Winston’s check down is a 50 yard 50/50 ball.

They won today because they played fundamentally sound ball. Limited turnovers, limited penalties equates to wins.

Comparing the two, Andy just looks more comfortable back there.

Winston plays in a chaotic way, even his drop back looks rushed and panicky.

I think at this stage, unless Dalton has a complete meltdown, he's the QB until the end of the season.

While I don’t necessarily disagree with your assessment, I will say Winston did NOT have the kind of blocking (run or pass) that Dalton had today.

Absolutely a fair point.

I didn't see the game ... how in the world did we hold Adams and Renfrow to 2 catches for 9 yards without Lattimore? That was a shock to see, did our DB play step it up that much?

D overall had a very good game.

Pressure on Carr from the front 4.
He tried to force a crossing route to Renfrow that Werner read beautifully and tipped, which Mathieu then picked off.
Alontae Taylor had a very good game, matching up on Adams.

Most obvious observation.... Saints don't need the prima donna to win... just the will and determination...and Taysom Hill
