Harty is gone. Shaheed is superior. Bigger. Faster. Better receiver.

Agree with your takes, but I’m gonna comment on this one here leilung. Dalton looked very good. But there’s one thing we are overlooking. If the field was about 4 inches wider he would have thrown a bad pick. He made a terrible throw the was intercepted but the DBs foot was just touching the line. It was at a time when the game was close and we went on to score on the drive I’m pretty sure. When it first happened I threw the TV remote into the sofa! It was the kind of play that frequently sucks emotion out of a team and turns things around. Fortunately it didn’t count and Dalton made no more dumb throws. Just a thought while we are celebrating over his awesomeness.

Dalton can manage a game to a tee, short, mid, and a little deep ball, he has it all. As long as the line gives him time he'll be fine, he's not a speed demon but can scramble if he has to and has better than average pocket presents. As long as PC can dial things up Dalton should be fine. Better D's with a top tier pass rush is the only problem I see

-No Turnovers.

-Refs didn't have their hands on the scale.
-Raiders are bad.

I’d like to point out an important thing(s) you mentions here Cruize. Three Players (Taylor, Olave, Rasheed) are rookies. We haven’t even seen Penning yet. Now, when you throw in Werner and Adebo that’s some pretty good young talent. Consider big money guys like Ram, Kamara and Latt are producing when on the field. If Thomas can ever get back on the field (queuing up map on that one) that’s a pretty good core moving into the future.
I know it’s the Raiders and it’s one game, but I guess I’m optimistic. Maybe not for this season exactly, but I certainly don’t think we are in the blow it up and rebuild stage (now que up bako). Keep in mind that if Lutz makes a FG here or if Kamara/Ingram had one fewer fumble there or if the damn refs call a fair game this team could be 5-3 or 6-2 easily.

I also realize the Ravens are a tough team to take on next week. Could be singing a different tune.

Not nitpicking your post but we're fine without Thomas, really have been. The guy has barely seen the field in 2 years and these young wr's are getting into rhythm ,as far as Ingram I would bring in another back right now and only use Ingram on tough yds. depending on the situation only.

True he’s not been necessary. I brought him mainly up cause I think he’s gonna be on the team for a while with that contract. Hopefully we can get some mileage out of him. He looked pretty good in that first game against Atl.

I think that's something we're going to have to come to expect. Dalton has routinely been a double digit interception guy his entire career. It's not being talked about because of Jabo throwing 30 in one season, but Dalton has never been a guy that doesn't throw the ball to the other team. He just fits better in the offensive scheme the Saints want to run. This is a West Coast offense with some shot plays designed in there. Jabo is an Air Raid kind of guy. Dalton had a season in 2015 where he threw 25 TD's and a career low 7 INT's. Hopefully we get that version.

Unfortunately his bad version is still better than Jameis Winston.

It's been encouraging to see us put up points with a skeleton crew at wide receiver.

I'd say it's a higher floor, lower ceiling situation. Winston's ceiling is the heavens. Winston's floor is the fiery pits of hell. He can fall anywhere from 60 to 99 on the Madden scale any given day. Dalton is more like a 65 to a 90...most days playing like a 75 or an 80. Winston plays like a 63 then turns around plays like a ****ing HOF 99 with enhanced abilities. **** is unpredictable.

IDK why rez, but your Madden analogy made my chuckle. Right on the nose though.
