And 2024! The problems on this team will not be fixed quick!

Just like the team wasn’t nearly as good as they looked blowing out the Raiders they aren’t as bad as they looked last night. They played one of the best teams in the league after they came off a Thursday game. As
mentioned Werner and Taylor got hurt during the game. Washington and Ellis had to log a lot of playing time. It’s a bad look and they weren’t prepared. Take it week by week is all we can do.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Ravens

- The Dalton experiment has run its course. The Ravens had a secondary that could be beat, but Dalton wasn't the man to make this happen. He looked immobile and slow. His decision making was poor. Two yard outs on 3 and five. I'd rather take a Winston pick here or there for at least a chance to hit some explosive plays at any time.

- Lamar Jackson is sick. His passing game sucks, but he can carry the ball 30 times a game and can't be stopped by anyone.

- Losing McCoy really hurt. Ruiz has locked down RG the past several games and after being forced to snap Throckmorton couldn't stop anyone in his stead.

- Ravens fans were present in huge numbers. The most I've seen this year by an opposing fanbase.

- As mentioned by someone earlier, the stagnant playcalling and execution by the offense forced the defense, which I believe performed quite well given the circumstances, to simply wear down as the game progressed.

- The addition of Roquan Smith played a major role from what I could see. He was in the middle of play all game long.

- Did I mention Dalton continues to miss open receivers on key plays?

3 total touches for Taysom Hill vs Ravens.

A playmaker with 3 touches all game.

Coaching ☹️.

I don’t understand. They used him quite a bit last week. And he was making plays and doing great. Then this week he had 3 touches. And none until the 3rd quarter if I’m not mistaken.

First play, third series, first quarter, Taysom was in at QB and was stopped for no gain. The next play he was targeted at TE with a Dalton pass. By the second possession of the second quarter the Saints were down by 14.

I feel they have certain plays designed for Taysom and if the situations do not arise he doesn't get the call to even hit the field.

I saw him open a couple of other times but he didn't appear to be an early option in the progression. Dalton just never seems to see the entire field. Brees was phenomenal at that. We were spoiled. Although, I still feel Winston is better at it than Dalton.

Did they forget how to incorporate taysom & Alvin after one week. Just sad OC have to script plays for dalton to have Kamara as 1st and only option against raiders then Dalton won’t look for AK when plays break down. OC not adjusting to the defensive schemes or Dalton not able to read and react is a problem. Need an offensive minded coach and DA to focus only on defense. NFC South sux. The sad thing comes draft time I will be watching ALL those qb’s be drafted before 2nd rd. One might drop but most likely going need time to develop and adding a qb coach to help with the development. Think Brees will be up to the challenge for being a qb coach?

That's it. I'm all for Dennis Allen being vacated from his job.
