And exactly who is going to do that? The dynamics at the top of the Saints is different than most other organizations. Gayle looks upon Mickey as a son. That has been shared literally on many occasions. Just as with Payton, Loomis is going to stay as long as he wishes as long as Gayle is living and that's likely to be for many more years. As badly as some fans wish to jerk the knee and clear house it's simply not the way the Saints organization from the top down operates. Best approach or not. Just saying.

Perhaps over multiple years. She's not the most wealthy woman in Louisiana by being overly reactive.

If she lost in her buisnesses like the Saints are, she might react differently, bet she would be firing somebody then.

She's still making money off of it. Every game is still a sell out. If it went on long enough (two or three years) where it affected her actual bottom line, then yes, she'd likely make a move. Then again, it all comes down to money. Even if Saints season ticket holders stop coming they sell their tickets to visiting team fans coming to NOLA as a destination. It will be a while, if ever, that money becomes an issue.

Let me get this straight. We're ten games into a 17 game season with a plethora of key players decimated by injuries and you think morons are going to start filling the stands with paper bags. Is that about the gist of it? LOL! Most wealthy people I know couldn't give a rat's ass about what some morons think about them. No matter what they do or don't do there's always going to be some subset that are pissed off. It comes with the territory.

If Gayle looks at Loomis as a son I guess I look at her as a b**** because I look at Mickey Loomis as the son of a b**** who traded away our best young defensive leader and our top 5 1st round pick and got us to 3-7 with the most future cap dollars flushed down the toilet of any team in the league. If Gayle is going to keep Mickey it is what it is but the inevitable result will be an 0-17 season. If she keeps him after 0-17 I hope he likes spit in his food when he is out and about the town. I also hopes he doesn't trade away our 1st round pick in advance of that 0-17 if he stays. He probably will, Arch Manning to the Falcons with 1st round pick acquired from the Saints. I am sure Loomis will say it is no big deal since we wouldn't have the cap room to sign a 1st round pick by that time anyway due to a $50 million cap hit for Andrus Peat who so nicely agreed to restructure his contract to push back his salary due for 10 years in a row.

Wow! You appear to be very disturbed.
