He’s got all the numbers. Would you take him as the Saints if it turns out this injury would cause him to miss next season?

That would literally be a first for Loomis. I believe he's the only GM with any tenure to have never traded down in the draft. When that fact was pointed out to him Loomis replied, "quality over quantity." But, I guess there could always be a first time.

Yeah,The “wouldn’t mind” is the operative phrase. Certainly don’t expect it. Didn’t expect the Saints to beat the Rams either.

With the right coaching at the NFL level, I thin TCU's Max Duggar could have some success. It sure seems like there will be falling QB's in this draft with good ceilings.

If he plays at UT (Austin) instead of TCU, I think this kid would be talked about a lot more. He's slept on. Team guy, a leader & competes on every down.

I agree with you.

I'd rather start at the root of the problem first - who is over conditioning these dudes? Can the problem be fixed?
It’s been bad for a while. The amount of injuries players on our team incur is baffling. I feel like injury has been a major factor for the last 6 years or so. I can’t think of another team that loses so many players. Maybe the Rams this year. What sets this year apart it the fact we are losing players a positions that are supposed to be deep.

I agree. Sign Minshew to a 2 year deal and draft Hooker.

I actually think Minshew would be fun to watch. I seriously think he could be awesome given a decent line and receivers. I’d love to get him in NOLA.
