Sure looks like this **** is over.
Ball is not bouncing our way to say the least.
Refs... Man fk them and the leagues antics.
Sean Payton would've had a say in 0 points scored..
Coaching matters!
I thought the year Sean was suspended we would be ok.. nadda
Coaching matters!

To not want this team to pull it together late and win 8 or 9 games and possibly win this division and get a home playoff game is not thinking rationally. I went through years of this team being terrible and praying just to get to the playoffs only to be disappointed each year. DA is not going anywhere regardless of what happens and we have no first rounder next year to play for so why not hope this teams performs a miracle, gets there, and hope for the best in a single game elimination tournament. Better your team have a chance than no chance.

What we witnessed today, and for most of this season, is a holistic mess - broken at every level. Doesn't matter how much talent we have at some positions. We just cannot put the pieces together in the right way. We saw this coming, THEY (Management) saw this coming. They didn't prepare to prevent this. No Fan could possibly be prepared to witness what we saw today, and might possibly see for the foreseeable future. I am giving "Management" a thumbs-Down, and sending massive props to the die-hard Fans.

On to next freaking week...

The thing that makes it tricky this year is Sean Payton's status. With every loss we suffer (especially ones like today where we got shut out), Payton's stock goes up, and we do want Sean Payton's stock as high as it can be so both he and us get a godfather offer for his services is 2023.

I want to win, but at least if the losses mount, Sean Payton's stock goes up and DA's stock goes down, which may benefit us next year going forward.

Anyway - a few of my observations:
- I had to listen to the game on NFL+, and before long chose the 49ers radio broadcast over our own. The 49ers PBP guy was a lot clearer and more matter of fact and it was much easier to follow the game. And I love Deuce, and maybe it is just me, but he is not doing it as a color man for me.
- Our fumbles, goofs and misfires on offense wasted a very sturdy effort by our defense. This game was in our reach and we failed.
- We really need a good young RB to complement Kamara and there will be many in this draft. Many I watched on Friday and Saturday that I could get behind. Don't eff it up, draft at least one.

Even at this level, absolutely it does :bng:

I'll be shocked if Pete Carmichael returns in 2023.

Side note - I'm watching the Philly / Packers game right now & I see Ceedy Deuce got hurt/injured. Their backup safety (rookie) comes in and gets a pick.

The Saints need to focus on getting BETTER DEPTH on defense. Harris is a walking garbage can & he's old.

Time to get younger talent in New Orleans next off-season. That goes for the O line as well.

Imagine if we had not traded our 1st. Then with every loss that pick goes up and Paytons stock goes up. First and foremost I blame Loomis because although everyone is a piece of this disaster, he is the one who bet the farm and put us in a sitatuation where if this happened it would be much harder to rebuild. Also Allen etc can’t control the lousy refs but Loomis had all the data to know there was a high chance the refs would do this and yet he still traded the 1st. He is the one person who should have factored that in with NOT trading any of our picks knowing that if things went wrong the refs would pile on and it could be a high pick.

I'm really tired of hearing about us trading our 1st. We got a young, starting LT out of it. What good is a young QB if you can't protect him? Some pieces should already be in place before drafting a young QB.

Olave was the prize of the trade. Well worth it

Important notes on the Saints season thus far:

Saints are still last in turnover margin (-12) as of 11/27/22.
Saints lead the league in false starts penalties and turnovers (19).
0 points scored today vs the Niners.

Sure there are injuries, bad calls every game but the 4-8 record is what it is.

Bad football.

If you are tired go to sleep. We got a young offensive lineman who was instantly injured and whose only game so far he contributed to our offense getting shut out by committing a key facemask penalty. Had we not traded with Philly, we still could have moved up to get Olave and kept our 1st rounder.

If his court case goes wrong, I sure hope Kamara can hold onto a bar of soap better than he can hold onto a football.
