It's a take on Socrates. "True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing". Its basically saying you need to be mature enough to be able to shed your ego and preconceptions. Embrace the idea that you could be wrong and are able to listen to other points of view with an open, accepting mind. Then you can evaluate without bias.
Im willing to concede that Allen is not a good future HC. I wouldn't mind if we moved on. Two organizations thought he was good enough however. I think it wise to evaluate why they both thought he was and to look at what went wrong and what was within his control. You apparently can't accept you could be wrong and have made up your mind. Fair enough. |
