As a long-time Fan of both the Game, and our Team, I have to say that it's getting harder to keep swatting at symptoms of causes that remain unclear.

After what I witnessed last night, my suspicions that we have a "Management Problem" were both solidified and reframed, by realizing that this beloved game may indeed be rigged. For me, that's a huge bummer on top of a bummer.

I don't know how our front office couldn't have seen this season (and perhaps a few more seasons) coming, while Drew Brees was in decline and Sean Payton was on his way out, without being better prepared for this, or how a Game could so precisely turn and unravel like (literally) clockwork, down to the last 3 seconds... or if in fact, there is some nefarious marketing mechanism that dictates and drives the modifications and media narratives of rises and falls in the league, and our players (all "players") might just be participating in a big "Show" in the "Entertainment Industry".

I am saying that I just don't know. Heading into a week without Saints-Football is both a curse, because I LOVE watching my Saints, week after week, no matter what the outcome... and a blessing, because I really don't know how much more of this "Game" I can take.
