He is more likely to wait a year to stop a team giving too much away in draft capital. Give it a month and you'll start hearing how he is willing to wait a year for them reasons. I'm not sure why so many seem happy to overlook his part in the mess this team is in. Its wasn't just Loomis giving out and extending these deals to older veterans for one more shot. The amount of dead money flushed down the hole in cap space each year to do this has stopped the team from getting players that could have made a difference or clearing certain players off the roster. The lack of cap space has is what has effectively meant trading a backfield of CjGJ/Williams to Maye/Mathieu, swapping two players headed into their primes for two aging vets.CJ on his own has 1 more interception than the Saints have throughout the team in only 11 games. And Marcus Williams has one less than the Saints total in 9 games
