I could see him want the challenge of bringing one of the most historic teams in the NFL back to greatness. They have a young QB who many think could be a star, and one who you could say is a better version of Taysom Hill.

The biggest problem is they just hired a new coach last year. But it's the NFL, which stand for 'not for long' if you don't win.

You're not alone in that thought.

I think Dalton will be the starter next year. Draft safety/DL and hope for much less injuries.

Keep Dalton and Hill on the reasonable and INVEST in the offensive line. keep Defense if possible.

I can absolutely support that, and draft a QB in mid rounds until we get a keeper. Use higher draft choices on more trustworthy positions.

Is the Tulane QB worthy of consideration in the later rounds or even UDFA? He seems like he comes through in the clutch, even if his numbers aren't eye popping.

No telling when actually facing NFL talent. So many that do "eye pop" end up being busts. I trust Jeff Ireland and his crew to take those gambles, but not in the earliest rounds.

Keep Dalton if he is cheap.

Trade Hill to whoever Sean Payton coaches or whoever will take him. Hill is a very fun player to watch but his production is never consistent and tends to be against weak teams and defenses. Some float stats where we win if we use him enough, but the truth is we use him enough when we get more than 1 yard and a cloud of dust attempting to use him, and against better defenses we would not do well getting 1 yard and cloud of dust more times. Also unfortunately Hill is too old for a running QB or Tight End with his playing style and will not be reliable. He is a fun player, I agree, but he is a fragile novelty when we need depth, durability, and youth.

Draft a QB without trading up somewhere in round 1-4.

Cut Winston. He needs a QB guru coach if there is any chance.

Find a Lamont Murray replacement and don't put them on the practice squad.

Draft oline depth. Find the next Evans or Nicks in the middle rounds.

Consider moving Alvin Kamara at the 2023 trading deadline if we don't have a winning record and his suspension is behind him. As we develop a younger QB a more powerful running back might aid more in their development than a 4th or 5th option for passing.

With whatever trade assets you have this year pick a quarterback and let Andy Dalton groom him. No, I don't want Andy Dalton starting but he is a good Bridge quarterback I believe. There are some quarterbacks available in the second round like Hendon Hooker that looks promising. I don't want to pay the money to Derek Carr or Jimmy Garoppolo or anybody else who will not be the future. Let's invest that money in young Talent.

If you are gonna wait and draft a quarterback in the mid to late rounds give me Stetson Bennett. Kid is a winner, experienced, athletic and not the least bit rattled. You’re not wasting much buy getting him so if he doesn’t work out move on.

Still showing loyalty

Gardner Minshew would be a fine bridge until Manning in 2026, or a prospect in 2023/24.

Mind you unless they get a new OC it's pointless
