I hope I am wrong but I worry we could bring in Tua if he decides to keep playing and the Dolphins cut or trade him. Other teams would be concerned with his injury history and concussions, but that is where Loomis comes in, the eternal optimist.

I'd like to draft a QB to start immediately. However Derek Carr and Lamar Jackson potentially being available, really intrigues me.

I’m still predicting we will get a first rounder and more for Payton! We will get maybe a first rounder for Thomas! Then will trade up in the first round and take Bryce Young!

Mr irrelevant looked pretty damn good today overall. Glad the Hawks lost, but my point is, we could sure use a little luck with a long shot like the Purdy kid. He has a solid cast around him but looked pretty good.

I think the Saints would be lucky to get a 5th round pick for Thomas at this point.

Loomis did say this week that they are just wanting to get Thomas back on the field. That still leaves it all pretty open.

Just read it would be really costly for the Saints if this were to occur.

Unless they totally rework the contract. This would take Thomas willing to bet on himself and void the existing deal for a prove it one. I doubt that happens, but it is an option.
