Ahh okay thanks, I wasn't aware of that.

Broncos don't have any first round picks as far as I'm aware, so that'd be a bad decision if we sent him there.

We don't have the choice of where he goes. We only have the choice of whether he goes or not.

And the Broncos do have a 1st. They got it in trade from the 49er's. It could end up anywhere from 25th to 32nd depending on how the Niners do this postseason.

They could trade up some of those pics or trade the #3 down to get into the 10-12 range if that would be the case, then still give us good trade value. It would rob Paytons draft for this season and next and I don't think that has appeal to him. If he's interviewing he's coaching.

I agree that Payton covets the draft picks and that's why it will be part of the decision on where he goes, if he goes. That #3 in Arizona and that #2 in Houston really make them attractive spots for him all other things considered. Denver is attractive because of Russell Wilson and the ownership and front office.

A loss to the Jags this afternoon could bring the Chargers into the mix. An opening round exit could give us a pick in the late teens. I would expect Payton wouldn't mind having Justin Herbert to play with and then there the fact that Payton already makes his home in LA.

I'm going to be a huge Jags fan today. That would be our best legitimate shot at a 1st round pick that high, I believe.

I just don't think that we are going to see the value we all hope for. Sean Payton is not going to give away all his draft capital to build his new team with.

If we can’t get what we want I’d make sure Sean Payton is working for Fox for the next two years.

Getting paid what he's getting paid there I'm sure he can handle it with no problem. Although, would it not be throwing the baby out with the bathwater if we get no compensation whatsoever? There's a time to weigh principle against logic.

But I think they'll get what they want in exchange. It just may not be what fans want.

This same logic has been shared before, Rugs. I believe you have it nailed.

Wonder how much coaching changes and surrounding cast at UK had to do with that.

I don't know the answer but you're absolutely correct those seem to be glaring.
