Can you explain what you mean by "lesser offer"? Do you mean lesser than what the fans are hoping for, lesser than what was given for Gruden, or lesser than another franchise's offer for Payton's rights? Or something else entirely different. I'm honestly not sure what you meant by that. ![]() The Texans can offer us the 2023 #2 overall and their 1st in 2024, while the Cardinals can offer up the #3 overall and their 2024 1st. But if Payton only wants to accept the Denver job or go back to FOX and all the Broncos are willing to give up is what Sigler suggested then the Saints have no recourse other than accept it or refuse to give up his rights at all. The Broncos' "lesser offer" is better than nothing at all and should still come in handy. |
